Honor God with your body(1Cor.6:12-20)

Introduction: The Corinthian Church was where the Gospel movement started correctly from the beginning. At that time, Corinth was a big city that had a population of 700 thousand and was full of many temples. Because it was strategically important place for the Gospel movement, God had special concern about it. However, this church that was established on God"s blessings unfortunately missed God"s concern later. It became stuck in the middle of Satan"s strategy that makes it unable to fight spiritual battle. We must not miss the essence while we are receiving answers.
God has saved us from eternal destruction by paying off the price that is not exchangeable even with the entire universe. The more you know about this fact, the more you will think about how you will live for the glory of God with your body. Then, what must we do to live the life of honoring God?
1. You can live the life that honors God through prayer.
(1) Prayer takes the most parts of the Bible like the work of life.
1) Even Jesus who is God did his ministry by prayer (Mk.1:35, Mk.14:32, Lk.6:12, Jn.6:15)
2) The seven Remnants were individuals who faced and prayed to God. (The common characteristics)
3) You can glorify God when you restore prayer.
4) The misunderstanding about prayer: prayer is thing that you must spend much time for and do many times.
5) There are obstacles to prayer
6) The key to answers to prayer - thought (thinking→ideology→consciousness→subconsciousness→soul→behavior)
(2) How can prayer take place?
1) relationship prayer: You should first enjoy true happiness in the relationship with God
2) Immanuel prayer: You should not lose hold of the answers of God that are given in the midst of meeting with people in your field. (Field prayer, continous prayer)
3) evangelism prayer: If you set the direction of your life to evangelism ministry, the fulfillment of the Word will take place wherever you go, and you will be victorious even without fighting.
(3) When you grab hold of the Word and restore prayer, you can live the life that honors God.
2. You can live the life that honors God when you fight spiritual battle.
(1) There is true freedom in the Gospel (Jn.8:32)
1) There were many people who used their body carelessly because of their ideology affected by Greek philosophy.
2) There were also some non-moralists who asserted that the law was abolished.
(2) True freedom and peace are given when you fight spiritual battle in the name of Christ.
1) The power to bind the forces of Satan has been given.
① We must fight spiritual battle because Satan attacks us while we are in flesh.
② God has given us the power to fight spiritual battle against Satan (Mt.16:19 the key to heaven, Mt.12:29)
③ You can"t enjoy the true answers to prayer unless you bind the forces of darkness.
2) You must unbind everything by the name of Christ at the same time you bind the forces of darkness.
① Jesus unbound things that Satan bound and hid. (Lk.13:16)
② You should unbind things like your business, finance, interpersonal relationship, and everything by the name of Jesus Christ.
3) You will see the channels of Satan if you keep enjoying the spiritual mystery.
(3) Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and a part of Christ" body, so He wants to be glorified through your physical body.
Conclusion: Hana Church is a very important church that will save Daegu and the world. We must know the strategy of Satan well and what part of you Satan uses as his channel. When you fight spiritual battle and pray in the name of Christ, Satan"s channel will turn into the platform for spreading out the Gospel.
