Assurance of salvation
(Eph.2:1-7)

Introduction: People keep falling down which dealing with difficulties without any confidence in their lives. This world is getting worse and worse and try to deceive people(2Ti.3:13). However, we are totally safe as long as we have confidence. The confidence in life comes out of the confidence in salvation. Everything is in salvation(Lk.19:10, 2Ti.3:15). True belief and happiness also come from the same part.


1.The believers without any confidence of salvation
(1)The result of no assurance of salvation
1)There is no confidence in answers from God
2)There is no confidence in their way(not trusting in the guidance of God)
3)No confidence in cleaning sins
4)No confidence in victory
(2)There will be no confidence in their lives
1)Such people will be misunderstood and mocked by non christians
2)They will be always poor and slighted by people(2Co.6:8-10)
3)Despite of their salvation, they have been tricked and their blessings have been taken away by satan

2.The whole story of the Bible - the promise of salvation
(1)The Bible contains the explanation of salvation, life(the subject of Bible. Jn.20:31)
1)The Old Testament - Genesis / Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers / Joshua, Judges, Ruth / histories
2)The New Testament - Matthew, Mark, Luke, John / Acts / letters / Revelation
(2)In the history of church, several denominations and religious sects were divided according to their view of salvation

(3)Because believers are so sure about salvation, they are wandering around(1Jn.5:9-11)

3.What is salvation?

1)The problems of our past are solved(Gal.3:13-14, Isa.53:4-6, Col.1:13)
2)The problems of the present are solved(Eph.2:2-3)
3)The problems of the future are solved(Eph.2:6-7)
(3)Gods words are the basis of our confidence in salvation, prayers is the way to enjoy salvation, and evangelism is to have confidence in the fields


Conclusion: Everything is in the salvation. We must restore our confidence in salvation so that we may gain brand new answers from God this year.
