God who is the originator of our lives
(Ex.4:18-31)
Introduction: First of all, we must check what we are before we start. It is important for us to think of genders and duties but more important thing is we must confirm our spiritual identity. We are children of God who have received a salvation. The relationship between God and me must be confirmed like the words in Exodus "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery." There are two things we must put in order to make sure our relationship with God.
1.The meaning of salvation - enjoy and realize the blessings of salvation properly
(1)The meaning of salvation: God's Holy Spirit is in us
1)God is realistically in us with his power and his character(1Co.3:16, Php.1:6)
2)However, not so many people enjoy His power in their real lives
(2)Enjoy the guidance and the filling of Holy Spirit
1)Believers and unbelievers are different - believers have a guidance of Holy Spirit(Ac.1:8)
2)We must pray first before we study and discuss something.
3)We must pray first for the intensive training of the life of evangelists in advance
2.God's work that recovers His own covenants - We must take root within the covenants and recover them
(1)God with the sovereignty of our lives makes his covenant recovered to bless lay people
1)God healed Moses's constitution tarnished by unbelief and entrusted His work to him
①God blessed Jacob to accomplish 12 tribes for Israeli people
②God made Elisha like God before the king of Israel
③God made the king Darius treat Daniel like God
④God made every people in the shipwreck believe what Paul said
2)God knew and healed what Moses was anxious about(v.19)
(2)We know His covenants and have them put down root in our minds and thoughts
1)God made Moses go to Egypt with the covenant
①God blocked Moses' way and tried to kill him
②Moses' wife cut off her son's foreskin that was the symbol of the covenant and touched Moses's feet with it
③The more urgent thing than going to the battle, Egypt, was to recover the covenant
④There is nothing more important than knowing the covenant and taking root in his covenant(the reason why we must live the life of the evangelists)
2)To put down root in his words, evangelism, and prayers, the intensive training for the life of evangelist should come first.
Conclusion: In every step of Moses, God had already prepared everything for him. God prepared Aron(Ex.4:27) and made the people bow down and worship their Lord.(Ex.4:31) God prepared miraculous things. We must take every step forwards believing in the life of the evangelists while not falling into unbelief. God will let us enjoy the blessings prepared by God in advance.
