When is Gods power revealed?
(Mt.28:18-20)
Introduction: The first promise that God made when he called us is the world evangelization(Ge.1:27-28, 12:1-3, Mt.28:18-20, Ac.1:8). However it can be impossible if we live in our own way. We are too busy to think about the future and always worried during the entire life. Gods authority and Jesus power have to be revealed to us so that we can save the field. When is Gods power revealed?
1.First, we must have a certain reason for the working of His covenant
(1)God sees not our level but the covenant in us
1)Jacob: he is mean and a kind of corn artist but God blessed him to the end. God saw the covenant inside Jacob and the heart towards spiritual blessings. God gave him the blessings of Israel and made him conquer the world
2)Peter: he is unwise, full-blooded, had sort of twisted mind, and doing something strange all the time. But God blessed him to the end. Because he had the covenant of Mt.16:16 in the center of him
(2)We can know what we are and what kind of world we are in as much as we know the Christ(the true standard)
2.Keep in mind 7 core covenants in the Bible(The reason we need Christ)
(1)7 core covenants
1)Originally human was created in Gods image(Ge.1:27-28)
2)Human who was deceived by satan did not believe in God(Ge.3:1-6 covenant was broken)
3)As a result, failures, sufferings, and difficulties have been going on in our lives
4)We sustain physical lives on this earth and we go to the heaven or hell
5)In order to solve this problem, God sent Jesus to this earth
6)Jesus came here and completed his mission(Gospel)
7)When we accept Jesus, spiritual problems of human, Ge.3s problem, can be solved and we can be transferred into spiritual position
(2)The moment we receive Jesus as Christ, Gods power reveals by Christ
3.From now on, we must be ready for 3 fights(spiritual battle)
(1)The battle against satan - No matter how hard we pray, satan do not leave. We were given the power of Christ and we must know the fact that satan already was broken in the name of Christ
(2)The battle of ourselves - Christ and the honor of church are plummeted because of me. We must admit that we set back against gospel and put down all my motives, plans, thoughts, unbelief, and scars and grab hold of Gods vision as my vision
(3)The battle of the world - Do not ignore or be afraid the world and do not be assimilated with the world. Sustain a life that is distinguished from the world by having the Holy Spirits guidance. Come into the world and become a witness who can save the world
Conclusion: When is Gods power revealed? We have lived regardless Gods power until now. However, you grab hold of Gods power from now on and we must pray to be His disciples who are used to save regions, the nation, the world, the next generation in the name of the Lord.
